Nine Days To Go- Paris Madrid 2013

The countdown to this wonderful event is on and there are just 9 days to the start of the Paris-Madrid Rally, marking the 110th Anniversary of the original running of the Paris-Madrid Race in 1903.

We are delighted to say that Nigel Herring, Charles Jarrott’s great nephew will be flagging off the cars and wishing them well on their travels.

The rally starts 110 years to the day of the initial event, which was halted in Bordeaux – we will finally finish the event, ending in the Juan Carlos 1 Parque on the outskirts of Madrid. The original race was intended to finish in the centre of Madrid but modern roads and traffic have made this virtually impossible. However, the winning car will be taken to the Gala dinner where it will be the guest of honour.

Day 35 – Rio Grande to Ushuaia

The final day! And a short one too of just 212kms before all cars were collected together and a triumphant drive to the hotel and the finish of the rally.

At the Gala dinner James and Max Stephenson were crowned kings of South America with their superb drive to the top of the leaderboard.
