With tales of woe regarding problems with much loved cars coming into the rally office every now and then, it makes sense to have a plan B. We have few cars which may be of interest to our rally participants.
- A 1970 Peugeot 404, the car is based in Argentina, where it is well known, the car is prepared for classic rallying and said to be in ‘ready to go’ condition. This vehicle is highly suitable for the South American Challenge 2013 and available to purchase or hire, subject to inspection, would be no more expensive than the shipping a car from the UK.
- The 1968 Lotus Cortina Mk 2, which has been prepared thoroughly by RPS, is ready to go. The car is in Surrey and open to inspection.
- A red, two door, 1967 142 which is running a B20 two litre with twin webber 45, limited slip diff, disk brakes all round as original with servo, full roll cage with Brantz, gps, etc. A very well know Irish car on the historic circuit. Lots of space.
- A Dark Green Volvo 144, 1973, Class winner Le Jog 5 years running, B2 litre with twin Strongbergs, disk brakes all round as original, half roll cage, 4 door, limited slip diff, Builstien shocks, fully strengthened suspension with long range tank, sump guard,GPS, Brantz, full rally dash, very comfortable and surprisingly great fun to drive.
